In the opening session, Ertuğ Uçar of TEĞET Architecture asked what we expect from a building and the architect who designs it. Drawing on Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, he explored architecture’s role in everyday life, starting with shelter and safety, and established a framework for the day’s discussions.
