Selection committee · April 2019 – January 2020 · Istanbul, Şerefiye Cistern
I sat on the selection committee of the 12th Arkitera Young Architect Award.
The Arkitera Young Architect Award has been given since 2004 to make young architects' work visible. For its 2019 edition I sat on the selection committee with Şule Ertürk Gaucher, Arda İnceoğlu, Sinan Kafadar and Dilgün Saklar. We assessed candidates on their whole body of design work, above all their completed buildings. The award went to FREA's founding partners, Ömer Emre Şavural and Fatih Yavuz, at a ceremony at the Şerefiye Cistern on 14 January 2020.
