Manisa was the second stop for the Yalın Şeyler Anatolia gatherings

Yapı Dergisi reports on the Manisa gathering, part of a series inspired by my book Yalın Şeyler. At the Manisa Liberation Museum, Heval Zeliha Yüksel, Ömer Selçuk Baz and I talked about how architecture can tell a city’s story. The trip took us from the Saray Tuğla factory to Kula’s volcanic landscape, the Temple of Artemis and Sardes. Architecture can bring stories of the past into the life of a city today.
