Parent conference: What Is Architecture For?
Architect Dr. Chen-Yu Chiu (Cho) shared the story of the Reyhanlı World Citizens Centre, of which he is the founding director. He described its journey from design to operation as a place supporting coexistence among communities affected by war and migration. Also used as temporary shelter after the earthquakes, the centre offered a case through which to explore architecture’s potential to create hope and solidarity.
