The İzdüşüm documentary, which brought to the screen, in a film of two episodes, the reflections on the lands of Türkiye of architectural and artistic movements from around the world, met its viewers in September 2017 with the reflections of Art Nouveau and Modernism in Türkiye, broadcast on TRT Belgesel.
The second episode of the İzdüşüm documentary, whose content was prepared by the architect Müge Cengizkan and which is presented by the architect Banu Uçak, focuses on the modern architectural heritage that the newly founded Republic of Türkiye gave to the lands of Türkiye. That heritage emerged not only as an architectural movement, but as the reflection of a project to build a modern Türkiye.
In Ankara, a capital founded from nothing in the 20th century, buildings that everyone in fact knows are told through their unknown, unseen spaces and their architectural details.
